Missing H1 heading

The H1 is the top-level heading that tells both readers and search engines what a page is primarily about. A page with no H1 at all is missing a strong topical signal that reinforces (or should reinforce) the title tag.

Why it matters

Search engines use heading structure to understand page hierarchy and topic. Without an H1, that signal is absent, and screen-reader users lose a key page-structure landmark too.

How to fix it

Add exactly one <h1> per page, describing the page's main subject.
Don't reuse the site logo or nav text as the H1 — make it content-specific.
Keep it close in meaning to the title tag, but not necessarily identical wording.
